A specialized conference titled "The Current Status of Iranian Culture and Civilization in Central Asia and Future Prospects" was hosted by the Institute for East Strategic Studies (IESS) with the participation of several scholars and experts from Central Asian countries and Iran.

A specialized conference titled "The Current Status of Iranian Culture and Civilization in Central Asia and Future Prospects" was hosted by the Institute for East Strategic Studies (IESS) with the participation of several scholars and experts from Central Asian countries and Iran.
On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the Institute for East Strategic Studies (IESS) hosted a number of experts, professors, and scholars from Central Asian countries and Iran to discuss the current status of Iranian culture and civilization in Central Asia and its future outlook. Participants in the event included:
Dr. Ravshan R.Nazarov; PhD in Philosophy, and Senior Researcher at the Institute of State and Law of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan,
Dr. Nurlanbek Baltabaev; Professor of Persian Language at the Department of Philology of the Near and Middle Eastern Countries, Faculty of Oriental Studies and International Relations, Bishkek Humanities University (Kyrgyzstan).
Dr. Gulbahyt Kudaibergenova; PhD in Persian Language and Literature, and Professor in the Department of the Middle East and South Asia, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
Mr. Qasim bek Mohammad; Political Analyst from Tajikistan,
Dr. Barat Shamsa; Central Asia Expert, and University Professor,
Dr. Alireza Charmagi; Director of the Regional Office of Fars News Agency, Iran.
In addition to these experts, another group of researchers in Central Asian studies also attended the conference.
The participants in this event discussed about different topics such as the shared cultural and civilizational heritage between Iran and Central Asian countries, Iran’s civilizational and cultural capacities in Central Asia, strategies to enhance Iran’s cultural strategic depth in Central Asia, as well as recommendations for fostering closer ties and interaction between the peoples of the region.
