Central Asia's View on Interaction with Iran; Opportunities and Challenges of Tehran
IESS's specialized meeting on "Central Asia's view of interaction with Iran; Tehran's Opportunities and Challenges" was held with the presence of Iranian and non-Iranian experts.

In order to analyze the relations between Iran and Central Asia countries in various fields, the Institute for East Strategic Studies (IESS) held a meeting with the presence of Iranian and regional experts and analysts.  
The participants in this meeting were:
  • "Sergei Ivanov", the professor of history at the Kyrgyz National University, and an expert on Central Asian issues;
    "Gholamreza Jalali", director of Biography and Genealogy Department in Islamic Research Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi, and an expert on the culture and civilization of Central Asia;
    "Mr. Farhadi", Deputy Director of Central Asian Affairs at the Iran Ministry of Foreign Affairs mission in Razavi Khorasan province:
    "Ahmed Ghasemzadeh" and "Omid Rahimi", experts on Central Asian issues: and some other researchers of Central Asian issues.
The participants discussed the opportunities and challenges of Iran-Central Asia relations in various political, security, economic, cultural and civilization fields.
